appointment
We had yet another appointment today and we got both good and bad news. The good news, our baby is doing great and is growing quickly. The bad news, the baby is still breech and is growing quickly. There is still time for the baby to turn though, and only 1-2% of babies stay breech. So there is hope. At our 20 week ultrasound the baby was in the 17th percentile for size. Today our baby weighed 3 pounds 13 ounces and is now in the 44th percentile. The doctor said that baby had a big growth spurt, which, go figure look at mom and dad, we aren’t small people. So we are now thinking a 7-8 pound baby, still not that bad though. Today I am 31 weeks 4 days so we are moving right along. My pregnancy has been really good and I have been pretty spoiled. I just hope they are all like this, right!!!
weekend fun
This weekend Michael and I went to Rapid to visit my mom and family. It was a good weekend, busy, but good. We got out their Friday night and helped my mom set up her rummage for Saturday. Well, I helped and Michael went to bed, go figure. I guess it was a late night and an early morning because Saturday morning when I was out working the rummage my mom look at my ankles and said, “Tera, look at your ankles! Get in the house and get them up.” I mean my ankles look like I had sprained them 10 times. You couldn’t even see my ankle bone on the inside. I had them up most of the day and that night and by Sunday they looked pretty normal. Sunday was Michael’s birthday (27) and Father’s Day so we, 18 of us, went to Spring Creek outside of Rapid for a picnic and fishing. It was a beautiful place and we all had a really good time. The weekend was nice and relaxing and it was good to see my family again.

happy anniversary
It’s hard to believe that it has already been two years. Yesterday was our 2nd Anniversary and we had a great day and, so far, a great summer. Michael is still at home and is probably not going to work the rest of the summer due to his back. At his doctors appointment they told him that he couldn’t lift more than 20 lbs. for the next three months. So that puts us in quite a bind as a couple, but at least I can lift more than him (only by about 15 lbs. though), ouch! Talk about a sorry pair. Oh well, we are having a blast and it is very good for us right now since our life will change so much in just two months. Everything is going really good and we are having a great summer.

ultrasound--06.07.2005
The face of baby Koupal
Baby Koupal had another doctor’s appointment and another ultrasound. Everything is still ok and the doctor was finally able to see the baby’s upper lip and said everything looks great. I posted a picture of the ultrasound and it is one that I can finally make out. The arrow on the picture points to the upper lip and it is sideways looking up the baby’s nose. You can see the nose, mouth, and chin of the baby. So cute!!! Not sure where our baby got those cute lips from, we are still competing for that claim.
